Delete Your Account

You can delete your IEP Right account and all associated data at any time — directly from the app or by contacting us below. Once deletion is complete, your data cannot be recovered.

What gets deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:

• Your account (email, name, phone number)
• Your child's profile (name, grade, disability categories, school information, IEP dates)
• All compliance log entries
• All journal entries
• All accommodations and deadlines
• All community posts and replies you have written
• Your subscription status

How to delete from the app

If you are unable to sign in or access the app, you can request account deletion by emailing us. We will process your request within 30 days.

Data retention after deletion

After your account is deleted, we may retain certain information for a limited period only where required by law or for legitimate business purposes (for example, records of financial transactions required for tax compliance). This data is not used for any other purpose and is deleted as soon as the retention period expires.

Aggregated, anonymized data that cannot identify you may be retained indefinitely for product improvement purposes.

Your California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)

California residents have the right to request deletion of personal information we hold about them. Submitting a deletion request through the app or by email constitutes a formal deletion request under the CCPA. We will confirm receipt within 10 business days and complete the deletion within 45 calendar days.
